Getting there
By car:
Approaching from North and South via the A61 up to exists for Stromberg, Wladlaubersheim, Dorsheim, Binge or Bad Kreuznach.
Approaching from the West, from France or the Benelux countries via the A1 and A62 up to exists for Birkenfeld and Idar-Oberstein.
By rail:
The Nahe Region is easily reached by rail from Saarbrücken, Kaiserslautern, Worms, Mainz and Koblenz. The regional railway calls at towns in the Nahe Region which include Bingen, Bad Kreuznach, Bad Münster am Stein-Ebernburg, Bad Sobernheim, Kirn, Idar-Oberstein, and Neubrücke. almost all attractions and holiday resorts are reachable by public transport. By air:
Our region is served locally by two international airports, Frankfurt-Hahn Airport in the Hunsrück and Rhine-Main Airport near Frankfurt/Main.
From Frankfurt Hahn Airport you take the B327 and the B422 for Idar-Oberstein, the B50, B421 and the L162 for Bad Sobernheim and the B50 and the A61 for Bad Kreuznach. In addition, a frequent bus service is available to the larger towns in the area.
From Rhine-Main Airport, you take the A60 and the A62 to the B41. Alternatively, you can reach the Nahe Region from Frankfurt Airport by rail via Mainz.
