The youth hostel is situated above the town with a superb view over the Nahe valley. The modern hostel has comfortable rooms (shower/WC) of varying occupancies, conference rooms (with modern equipment) and rooms suitable for wheelchairs. Numerous leisure activities such as billiards, table-tennis, volleyball, cucle hire, barbecue hut etc. are available. The Salinental (Saline valley) with its heated outdoor swimming pool and further sports facilities are situated in the immediate vicinity.

The completely modernised youth hostel is situated above the town in the Oberstein district. 1,2 and 4bedded rooms (all with shower/WC) are available. In addition, the hostel provides recreation and seminar rooms (with modern equipment), a cafeteria and rooms suitable for the disabled. Numerous sport and leisure facilities are to be found directly adjacent to the hostel, including basketball, volleyball, table-tennis, barbecue area and children's playground.
